Welcome to My Website

I created this website in the hope that it will allow anyone with the spirit of adventure to explore the natural and historical beauty of the United States. Within this site, you will have free and easy access to learn and understand the National Parks Service and the Junior Ranger Program within them. This also contains my story, top parks, and a searchable map of the continental United States and the Junior Ranger Programs within them. I am especially excited that this gives students, parents, and teachers a way to find online access to Junior Ranger Programs that they may not be able to visit in person.

About Me

Hi, my name is Anton, the creator of this website. I want to start out by introducing myself and my connection to the park services. When I was seven years old, I had the idea to take a few weeks off and head for a trip either in my state or up and down the coast to visit a few states. One thing led to another and we decided to take seven and a half months off and head around the country to 49 states. Obviously, that may be boring without a few stops along the way, so we decided to hit as many national and state parks as we could to make things more interesting. I currently have completed 65 Junior Ranger Programs.

Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park was one of the best National Parks I visited, with so much diversity in wildlife and landscape. Throughout our time there we were surprised to see tons of wildlife such as bears and deer. The park also includes many natural landmarks such as the half-dome shown above and beautiful waterfalls. We even went rock climbing at Tuolumne Meadows.

Craters of the Moon

Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve was by far one of the most unique parks I have visited throughout my trip. With its crazy moonlike landscape, it is unlike anything you see anywhere else. The incredible formations were created by recent lava flow. This unearthly view makes it such an adventure as you never know what you will see next, including super cool caves and lava tubes.

Glacier National Park

I would do Glacier National Park dishonor if I didn’t include it in the top three places I have visited. With its breathtaking views and trails, missing it would be a mistake. With its clear blue water and numerous mountains, you would believe could only exist within your imagination. It is by far one of the most incredible places I have visited not only during my trip but throughout my life.
